WHAT IS HAPPENING IN WHISPERING PINES
NEW ENTRANCE SIGNAGE
We have added a new sign to our wooden north gate to designate it as the North gate or entrance to Whispering Pines. The larger wood sign at the north gate will get a facelift this year with a new stain and additional information about Whispering Pines. It may also get a small roof. The new logo sign is lit at night for both the North and South gates. They were made at cost by our resident, Chett Anderson. A HUGE THANK YOU TO CHETT!!
ROADS
We recently added some gravel on Meadow and will conduct drainage and gravel work later this Spring. This work will help eliminate the common potholes that occur when water runs across the road. We will also add gravel to areas of our subdivision and clean out drains.
PARKING LOT
We will add another sign, as one was damaged, and we will install a chain-type gate to prevent anyone outside the WP from parking there. This area will only be available to WP residents or family members. We will also blade and gravel the area in front of the trash cans to minimize mud when disposing of the trash. This will happen late summer.
WEBSITE UPDATES
We are almost done with the Resident-only page (now complete) and the Homes For Sale page (now complete) on the website. More to come shortly after we launch those.
DRAIN IMPROVEMENT
We will be showing you some planned drain/culvert work this summer to minimize water running across certain parts of Meadow and Lake roads. This will be shown in more detail at our Annual Meeting.
NORTH GATE
New lighted signs are now up, and we will continue to make improvements to the North Gate area to enhance its beauty. We will paint the gate and re-stain the wooden sign, and include a couple more trees.

We have recently approved additional features for our Quicken accounting software, which will enable us to display more comprehensive, easier-to-read reports. These will be kept on our website, where all residents can view them.
